One user here, dand1996, usually uses a site called sendspace.

Not to familiar with their uploads, but I have used it for downloads, and it is quite easy.

Also pretty sure that the FTP site is quite happy to receive files whenever.

Are you using an FTP program, rather than trying to open the folders directly?

I use a different program than what Jason recommends, but I haven't had any problem downloading any of his files using an FTP client.
