We did the Jack the Ripper tour with a great tour guide who wrote a book on the subject, and ended with pints at the Ten Bells! There's a big list on the wall of all the Ripper's victims.....

Haven't been in a long time, but here are some I remember: Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Ye Olde Bell Tavern (both on Fleet St. I think), the Sherlock Holmes (near Victoria Gardens), the Queens Arms, Blackfriar's Tavern (under/near Blackfriar's Bridge)...there was also a bar in Wapping that has the gallo...

Stout was a good time--roomy, decorated in a festive Buffettesque manner...so very, very close to MSG--we're going to get off the LIRR and go right there!
