It would be 'holidays', not 'holiday's'. It is a plural, not a possessive. The holidays are approaching.
Actually, there is no Thanksgiving. We are going to the beach instead. :D

Well hey, I am visiting up here in Idaho right now, which is muuuuch colder than my island home, and I can tell you, as fanatically 'right' as these people up here seem to be, I DON'T think he would feel really welcome! People have written to the local paper saying they are afraid to profess themsel...

Some friends took the ferry over to Venezuela (10 miles away by sea, but more like 15-20 to the nearest actual town with road, due to the delta of the Orinoco River) and they said gas there is US 12 CENTS a gallon. Fill the tank for $2.00 US. This reminds me of Louisiana in the old days with non tax...

Is this something like the Universal City Walk in LA? Will be in Mouse-ando in February, but haven't been to Universal in 7-8 years and then only for a closed-park private event evening. (All I remember being there was a Hard Rock outside the park gates.) The LA City Walk includes stores, cinemas, e...

Uh, gang? Cane Garden Bay and Roadtown are on OPPOSITE sides of Tortola. You have to go over this little mountain between them. Just so you know. Not longwise, like Sopers-where-the-ferry-goes-into vs. the airport-at-Beef-Island, but widthwise. The other ferry goes into Roadtown. So tell your driver...

Aren't any Wal-Marts down here AND the only JB song anyone local knows is Margaritaville (which they play on pan), but recently was surprised to hear BNL ('Jane') on American Airlines while taxi-ing into the gate, never heard alternative on AA before. Maybe 80s elevator music is slowly at last fadin...
