The original rumor was a CIP at the corner of 159th & Oak Park. The new rumor is a CIP on 151 St. and LaGrange Road. Hope it happens. Downers Grove is a long ride.

That is the rumor we have heard also. The senior groups in the area have been trying to close it down for years. It creates too much noise and traffic. As bad as the acoustics were it was a fun place for a concert.

Jimmy skipping the Tweeter center this year to do the Wrigley concerts may have caused a strain on relations with Clear Channel. They may not want him playing Alpine because of it. I'd say they made a very bad marketing move if that's the case.
