There were plenty of tailgaters at the last show.

No problem with the snow, it's probably gone (at the house) by now. Except for up on the mountains around Tucson, so we can look up there from town and say "sure looks cold up there".

Gumbo, believe it or not - we have snow this morning in Corona De Tucson, about 15 miles south of Tucson!! I had about 5 miles of slush to drive through. Last week it was in the 70s and 80s.

I didn't see anything about parking fees either. Got seats down in sec 203 this year, was in the lawn last time. It will be my hunny's first Buffett show. Also have the room at the Econolodge - looking forward to the poolside parrotheads again.

I'm getting tickets, but I've already emailed Ticketmaster about my concerns with this venue parking fee.

How can they charge a parking fee for those not parking there (walking from the local hotel or taking a cab/limo/sharkmobile)?

DesertSharkNM: You'll probably spend alot less money for tickets for the Glendale show vs. Vegas, I've done both. I've had just as much fun at the Glendale show, including the partying at the local hotel (I stay at Econolodge - nuthin fancy but it's a room). I've met the same people year after year ...

I think two years ago we "Phlocked" over to the local burger place and devoured a few cheeseburgers on the way to the show. As alchohol intake increases, desire for the quality of food decreases.

Going to the Travelodge pool (always a crowd at the lodge), maybe Macayo's. :pirate:

There are a couple of hotels in stumbling distance, I usually go to the Econo Lodge (Toleson), there is usually a good amount of Parrotheads hanging around the pool a few hours before showtime.
