WOW, are there really people that think they can dictate what Jimmy plays?

I must be missing something.

Somehow I dont think Jimmy picks his songs based on what a few fans on the internet think. Otherwise he would only play songs that most people buying the tickets never heard. Only the so called "elite" fans think they would have a part in him playing "Dallas" and "Math Sucks...

Even StubHub has plenty of upper level tickets for less than $130. Yes it is twice face, but they are available at a price anyone that wants to see Jimmy should be able to afford. So stop complaining and get out there and see him while he still tours.

This tour is OK if you are in town for a short time like a crusie ship. However most of the stuff on the tour can be found on your own if you have a little time in town or visit a few times. Their "big" advertisment is showing you Jimmy recording studio. Hint, it is a plain white building ...

Note the place is now closed with no reason given on the door. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Most people in our bar feel it tastes like a Rolling Rock. Not exactly a compliment, with it costing $1.00 more a bottle.

Touchtunes is the internet Juke Boxes you see in many bars. Most artists are on them, but JB is not. He and the Beatles are about the only holdouts. Not up on the Itunes thing, but I understand the Beatles are going to be available there soon, so I would assume that they will be on Touchtunes soon a...

And that is all I ask. My vote means the same as him. I just hate any public figure (Oprah, etc) who thinks that my vote should be based on their opinion.

Anyone have any answers on why you cant download most of JB tunes? I hope royalties are not the reason since the majority of living artists are available on Touchtunes.

Is it OK to be a JB fan and be against his liberal views?? It seems that if you bring up his politics on this forum you are flamed.

I dont know about 2007, but you know JB will be all over the news in 2008 supporting some liberal Democrat for President and badmouthing Republicans.

AIA (including Dallas) is the only Jimmy CD available for download on Touchtunes jukeboxes. I guess he disagrees with how they pay royalties on these machines. Sad to sit in a bar and not be able to play JB.

This is the first year on over 10 we will not be going. it not just the prices, but it is the Tuesday night and all of the hassle with ticketmaster. I really don't blame Jimmy but in the end, it just isn't worth the hassle.
