I read about this today. Sounds like a great event. I have the 2004 edition on DVD and the show was incredible. This will surely be another outstanding show. Plus Steve Winwood will be there...perhaps a Blind Faith reunion??

I was really surprised to hear Steely Dan announce a 2007 tour as they just toured last year and they aren't a hard-touring band. At the most they usually only go out every 3 or 4 years. Sad news. I saw Boston back in 2003 here in their hometown.

They had such a unique sound. Definitely one of the signature bands of the 70's.

1st official date for North America was leaked today. 9/11/07 in Boston at the Garden.

There is a press conference scheduled for Wednesday March 7th to make the official announcement and for more tour dates.

I missed out on the Fenway tickets but I did score a pair of seats for their Hartford show in July.

Saw this tour in Boston last fall. Great show...how could it not be? Its Clapton!

You'll want to keep an eye on Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall...they both put on quite a show! Robert Cray was a nice treat as well.

The word is that the postponement is due to a push to get Michael Anthony to return to the line-up. If Anthony were involved I'd definitely consider going. Lets hope thats the reason its postponed. I'll be there for Sunday for sure. My bro and I snagged about 15 tickets. Will most likely end up at the Saturday show too with a smaller group.
