I just got an e-mail from Clear Channel/Live Nation today thats a pretty good deal for music fans who may frequent Great Woods/Tweeter Center. For tomorrow only (Tuesday August 1st), Live Nation is having a $10 special. Tickets for the following shows will all be $10 for tomorrow only... Willie Nels...

Yep...its true...they checked mine last year when I pulled in. Your best bet might be to park your car in one of the private lots outside the venue and just walk in.

When I saw him last year I think I was even more impressed by how much energy the guy had. He was flying around the stage like it was his first time on tour. You've got to appreciate his enthusiasm almost as much as his musical ability. Can't wait for next Friday!

Going to see them next Friday at Great Woods. Looking forward to it. I too saw Fogerty last year with Mellencamp and I think he really did steal the show despite opening for Mellencamp. I saw him a couple years ago at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. I agree...he has a much different sound these days...but its not necessarily a bad thing. He has a really tight, rocking band these days.
