Here's another article about the upcoming release.

I bet Bob appreciates them using the "younger" Seger picture. We all know he doesn't look like that anymore!

Bob Seger's new album

Here's a follow-up to the Bob Seger discussion that was going on here a couple months ago. Looks like he finally is going to release the new album this summer and it sounds like he is at least considering a tour....

What a shame....59 is way too young to go. I had the chance to see him live with Clapton a couple years ago. What a great entertainer.

Re: question about rv

Normally we leave right after the concert. However this year I am getting married 3 days after this concert. Me and my whole wedding party are planning on getting an rv for the show. How long do they give you before they kick you out of the parking lot? We stayed probably at least 2 hours in the lo...

This should be a really interesting show. One great thing about Petty is that he still keeps ticket prices reasonable and I'm getting a pretty good bang for my buck for the show at Great Woods this year. I think I paid 40 bucks for my seat and you get Petty, Trey Anastasio, and now Stevie Nicks adde...

Clapton Fall tour

Not sure if anybody else has posted this news yet, but Eric Clapton did confirm a fall U.S. tour this week. The Robert Cray band will be opening up. One interesting note from this tour is that Derek Trucks from the Allman Bros. is playing with Clapton for this tour which will remind fans of when Cla...

Ahhh....it won't be long now. I was over at Great Woods this past week buying some tickets to another show and seeing that parking lot really got me in the mood. From what I saw...it looks like they have been doing some work there too. Some of the lots were getting re-paved.

He got old....quick. He says he isn't hurt...so you gotta figure maybe it is the age factor catching up with him.

I've definitely been thinking about picking it up. Mark Knopfler is one of those people I wish I had loved a looooooong time ago. :D So far, no Denver date. I'm kickin' myself for not seeing him at Red Rocks last year when I could. I got into him when I was a young kid because my dad was a big Dire...

Hey Kath...

Thanks for the tip. I know this just came out and I've been meaning to have a listen. Two great artists...I had a feeling it would be good. They are coming to Boston on their summer tour this year. I might have to look into tickets.

I think Paul Simon looks fine physically...he's just getting older. I sometimes forget that musicians age just like the rest of us. I think he's right around 60 years old now. Not the young man he once was. I've always been a fan but never caught him live in concert. Hopefully I'll catch him on this...

Looks like he has left out a lot of big markets with that limited schedule. Knowing the extensive touring he's done in the past, I would guess that is probably just a small preview of whats to come as far as tour dates.

no steve perry...no journey... :( :( :( I saw Journey with Peter Frampton (yes, he's still alive!) a couple of years ago. If I didn't know what Steve Perry looked like and somebody told me that the new singer (can't think of his name) was Perry, I would've believed it. His voice is close, real clos...

The question was posed in this thread a while back about who would want to see these supposedly washed up acts? Well...apparently lots of people. I've read that the tour has sold so well...with many shows selling out...that they have just added another fall leg to the tour. 80's rock lives on! Here ...

While some might criticize them for not coming out with new material, I must say I saw them twice on their latest tour and they were on the top of their game. They made up for the high ticket prices with an outstanding 3 hour show.
