Here's a follow-up to the Bob Seger discussion that was going on here a couple months ago. Looks like he finally is going to release the new album this summer and it sounds like he is at least considering a tour....

What a shame....59 is way too young to go. I had the chance to see him live with Clapton a couple years ago. What a great entertainer.

Ahhh....it won't be long now. I was over at Great Woods this past week buying some tickets to another show and seeing that parking lot really got me in the mood. From what I saw...it looks like they have been doing some work there too. Some of the lots were getting re-paved.

Thanks for the tip. I know this just came out and I've been meaning to have a listen. Two great artists...I had a feeling it would be good. They are coming to Boston on their summer tour this year. I might have to look into tickets.

I think Paul Simon looks fine physically...he's just getting older. I sometimes forget that musicians age just like the rest of us. I think he's right around 60 years old now. Not the young man he once was. I've always been a fan but never caught him live in concert. Hopefully I'll catch him on this...

Looks like he has left out a lot of big markets with that limited schedule. Knowing the extensive touring he's done in the past, I would guess that is probably just a small preview of whats to come as far as tour dates.

While some might criticize them for not coming out with new material, I must say I saw them twice on their latest tour and they were on the top of their game. They made up for the high ticket prices with an outstanding 3 hour show.
