Ok, LOL, let's not let people freak out when they show up at these places, I live on Clark and Irving, right down the street from the ballpark. Any place east of Halsted to the lake is VERY MUCH ALTERNATIVE LIFESTYLE!!!!. On Halsted, from Waveland to Belmont, is very much gay and so is the Days Inn,...

Big Question: Who is actually gonna buyWrigley tickets
It will be interesting to see JB's popularity, everybody knows how outrageous the ticket prices are $130.00 and $90.00. Basically, it's show up to the concert and go home, absolutely no place for tailgating or parking anywhere. They're putting about 39,500 on sale. I've been to many a Cubs game and ...

Let's just close out this thread, I'm from Chicago and there is no day I look forward to all year is seeing Jimmy at Alpine, for whatever reason, Jimmy's not coming this year. I still would like Jimmy or Alpine to address exactly_WHY_he's not coming. We've loyally supported Jimmy for years at Alpine...

Well, I usually always have a pavilion seat. But, for me, it's the Alpine experience that is the best. It's leaving Chicago on an RV with ten other people around 12, getting to Alpine around 2:30 and setting up the tailgate, the incredible anything-goes vibe u get at Alpine with the tailgate, and th...

Nobody owes you anything. Get over it. Yeah, they do, Alpine has been a regular stop on the tour for years, it's not some backwater venue that he plays once every ten years. This is an annual event at, IMO, the best Buffett venue anywhere. It's a 40,000 seat venue that sells out in two minutes every...

Since Buffett won't give us Alpine, I am, in fact, boycotting the junkyard that is Wrigley for a concert. I live right down the street, but, I'm not going. It's got to be the worst place on earth for a concert and I'm dissappointed our neighborhood gave in on this. Tailgating is over, CPD will be ou...

Alpine appears to be history, Jimmy should just retire
It looks like the unthinkable has turned into reality, Buffett is not going to play at the cathedral of all Buffett venues, Alpine Valley. IMO, as I just posted on the Alpine thread, this is the end for Buffett. Jimmy, you might as well just retire if you're not going to play at Alpine. Thanks for t...

No Buffett at Alpine, I bet ticket price is the main issue
Buffett has raised his ticket prices, read this article about how Alpine wants to keep the costs down.

Wrigley is going to be a total and utter gong show, I live six blocks away and I want no part of it, but, I'll probably go to one show. Alpine is a day I look forward to all year, I cannot believe Buffett cannot get a date hammered home. Im gonna flat out say it like it is if he blows off Alpine, th...
