All I can say he is - he DOES have a right to make a living - just as long as it's not with my team - the New England Patriots.

Re: 40th Anniversary of Man on the Moon Thur 7/16
I just read a story on Huffington Post. It was titled Buzz Armstrong Punches Moon Landing Conspiracy Theorist in the Face.
I wish I knew how to do a link to the story - maybe someone can. But it's great to see Buzz Aldrin punch this idiot in the face when confronted. It made me feel good!

Is there some reason you left NBC off the list? And I would contend that 60 Minutes is not a news program, it is a news magazine. They are not a live program, nor do they ever cover breaking news. No, no reason, other than I simply don't know who any of their reporters/journalists are. (Mainly beca...

Re: Buffett Cornhole Boards
So that's cornhole? & all these years I've heard of people playing cornhole in the parking lots but have never seen it or at least thought I hadn't. I guess I had another kind of cornhole in mind   I had never seen people playing cornhole either. Until I went to see Jimmy in Cincinat...

Sail on Walter. You were the best news anchor of all time. I knew he was very sick - how ironic that he passed during the 40th Anniversary of Man on the Moon. As we all know - Jimmy was good friends with Walter. In fact, I believe, at Walter's 90th birthday party - there were about 20 invited guests...

The date of Neil Armstrong's walk on the Moon was July 20, 1969 - which just happened to be my 19th birthday. Man am I old. I, too watched in amazement with tears and will never forget that day.

The Phoenix is reporting that as of August, WBCN will no longer exist as a radio station. It will be replaced from a rock n roll station to an "adult contemporary" music station by moving WBMX (currently known as Mix 98.5) to 104.1 and changing the format of 98.5 to a sports radio station...

Hopefully, the circumstances surrounding McNair's death won't turn this thread into the negative name calling stuff that happened to the Michael Jackson thread.lati2d wrote:What a tragedy. Sail on Steve.

And we will certainly survive Al Franken - whether he turns out to be a great U.S. Senator or a joke. There - I did it! I stated my opinion without slandering those who don't agree with me! Amazing. It's not so much Al Frankken by himself that has me concerned. (Although how ANYBODY could take him ...

Re: Senator Al Franken
OK - I never cared for Al Franken as a comedian. I thought he was a " B " grade comedian. I also never cared for Ronald Wilson Reagan as an actor. Again - " B " grade at best. Some thought Reagan was a great President. I thought he was one of our worst Presidents. But you know wh...

To bring this back to Palin quitting her job.
I think David letterman last night had a great line: " We know Obama's in Russia cause Sara Palin can see him from her house."
If you can't stand the heat - get out of the kitchen.
I think Mrs. Palin left the house.

Re: Palin is stepping down.
When I heard the press conference in full, I thought it was rambling, disorganized and her body language was just odd. And, she seemed to be breathless, gasping for air between words at times. She seemed stressed. She might be able to campaign for Republican candidates, but I don't think she can be...

When the history books are written, they will give more ink to the Palin pick than to the Obama win. It was the worst mistake in presidential campaign history. Had McCain picked anyone of the qualified people, Obama might not be in the White House and Garry would be a happy man. :D Thank GOD - Garr...
