WOW! That is a boat-load of snow, Penny!
We used to get storms like that here... but not anything even remotely comparable in YEARS now.
This winter we had "plowable snow" exactly twice, and both times it was barely over the 3" plow-or-no-plow DPW criterium.

I may need a lot more vodka... newest totals for where E and I live: 16-25" :o :( How accurate are your forecasts out there? I seem to recall they were fairly close to being correct years ago when I was a CO resident. Whereas here the odds are for anything BUT the projected totals! I am...

I had a couple of errands to run and on the way home I saw another license plate I'm surprised was approved by DMV. It was a Tesla and the plate said NOFNGAS. Yeah... I'm'a gonna go out on a limb and say that one slipped by. Does SC recall plates? Here in MA, if someone complains about ...

Grey and dreary here today... no rain, though... YET.
This weather seems to be a day off...
We have noticed that on the first day of Daylight Saving Time it is frequently overcast and rainy, so the effect of the later sunset is lost.
Hoping that maybe tomorrow will be nicer...

Hiya Larry! Yeah, I got the shingles shot last year. Now THAT hurts afterwards more than covid or the flu. And my doctors office did something they NEVER do.. they forgot to chart my 2nd one, so I had to have a 3rd . :-? I looked back over my patient portal and showed that I had come in for my 2nd....

Good luck, sent! :D My eye doc has been watching the development of one in my left eye for a few years now... So far it is not impeding my vision at all, but I am sure that day will eventually come and so will the need to deal with it. Jim had both of his eyes done (one after another, 3 weeks apart...

Good morning BN. I love March! The days get longer and the sun gets stronger. Good Morning, I hate March! The days get shorter and the sun fades. Also, it means harvest and vintage kick off around here. I am off handpicking and crushing grapes today, at https://www.whistlerwines.com.au/ I will be s...

:-? Good afternoon. The weather guy lied to us. It was supposed to be 70 degrees and sunny, it's 59 and raining. It isn't raining hard but it's enough that I had to detour on my way to the park and go to the mall to walk. At least I didn't have to be on the lookout for goose poop at the mall. Our fo...
