I think he better come up with another screen name so he doesn't get in trouble if he starts talking like some of us do on these boards! As I sense he is maintaining professionalism due to the nature of his job....which is respectful...but I bet he likes to have fun....after all, he has gone to a show elsewhere and just doesn't work for them and think we are nuts!

Perhaps if I have more time to actually go to shows rather than work them you will see me on the boards under an assumed name. We shall see.finsupnorth wrote:I think he better come up with another screen name so he doesn't get in trouble if he starts talking like some of us do on these boards! Hey all just do what our group does every year...we kick back in the lawn chairs, drink soda, eat leftovers and enjoy an nice late evening until the traffic in the lots clear out...usually about two and half hours. The real tired ones will sleep for awhile while us true PH's enjoy remembering the concert we just enjoyed!!!!
Impatiently waiting for Alpine.........

I found the parking lot DESCRIPTIONS but not the maps under Parking Maps and Policies. Could we get some maps online for the visually inclined/verbally challenged?alpinevalley wrote:It all depends where you are parked. Many people on the yellow lot head to the entrance that they came in. Well, you can exit in the direction of the main theatre gates as well and that takes you down Pond road toward our green parking lot. This sometimes provides a quicker way out. Other lots (Blue, Red, Green) empty pretty quickly. The Yellow lot is the largest and holds the most vehicles.Mplsfins wrote:I have a quick question for Brian re: leaving the venue.
Is there anyway that the parking lot can clear out quicker?
Waiting for 2 + hours gets old real fast especially when you are tired and want to crash. Not to mention the local police make you take the interstate back to Delevan and trying to find Snug Harbor at 2 a.m. is not fun.

Brian
TICKETMASTER
WE HAD 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE TRYING FOR TICKETS RIGHT AT 10:00 WITH NO LUCK. IF YOU THEN WENT DIRECTLY TO EBAY, WHAT DO YOU KNOW TICKETS FOR SALE. HOW DO THEY DO IT? THERE ARE ALSO MANY WEBSITES THAT APPARENTLY BUY TICKETS ONLY FOR RESALE AT A HIGHER PRICE... OH WELL - WE GOT TICKETS AND READY FOR THE PARTY..

Brian-
Thanks for providing all this info. I love Alpine and would love to see Buffett there- not realistic this year though- have to settle for Denver and Camden. The Alpine Valley hotel (which announced Buffett's date long before it was "officially" announced) has told people that Phish is scheduled to play two shows there July 3rd and 4th. Care to confirm or deny? It would help me plan things out because I think I may be able to get out to Wisconsin that weekend.
Thanks again so much!
Jimmy

Sorry you cannot make it to the Buffett show. It's interesting that the resort knows about our shows before we do and before anything is actually signed. Would you honestly think we would schedule a show on July 4th? Enough said.gworm wrote:Brian-

We are actually working on a new map of the entire property and hope to have it out there soon. I know the descriptions don't help that much, but a quick and dirty explanation is as follows:sholleran wrote:I found the parking lot DESCRIPTIONS but not the maps under Parking Maps and Policies. Red Lot- Closest to the theatre where all of the busses, larger vehicles are.
Blue Lot- As you come in the main entrance, the lot to your left.
Yellow Lot- As you come in the main entrance, the lot to your right.
Green Lot- Located about 1/4 mile east (to the left) of our main theatre entrance. If you park in this lot, you will have about a 10 minute walk down Pond Road to get to the theatre.
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Brian

I wish I could. Unfortunately, Buffett has the tighest and best security in the business. Great guys to work with and I love them (and they actually request me for some shows in Chicago), but no backstage passes to be had. Keep on dreamin' my friend. I should mention that the Alpine VIP guests (who purchase season-long tickets) do actually get their own concession stands with their own line, so they actually do get to go to the front of the line in some cases.

Brian

Now you're talking! Six Flags has a Fast Track pass you can buy for an extra $10 or so, which gets you on rides without waiting in line. Maybe Alpine could sell a combo Fast Pass, to put you in the front of the beverage and bathroom lines!dean_siu wrote:So you can arrange my backstage pass and free beer status???
