When and Where?
I'm new to this site, and glad to be here, because I'm not all there.
The questions are "When did you first see Jimmy live?" and "Where was the show?"
My answer: 1976 at Gusman Hall in Miami

Where n When?
1977 Avery Fisher Hall- James Taylor & Carly Simon were in the house. I only recognized the tunes from CILCIA, meanwhile JB did nuggets from the treasure chest. Did my homework next time I saw him in 1978.
I know Jimmy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett is a friend of mine. Son, you're no Jimmy Buffett!

Oh, Lord. I can't remember back that far. But, Jimmy had hair and it was in Dallas. Greenville Avenue . . . . in the mid-70's . . .It was hazy and I did inhale.
It was Jimmy and the guitar. No Coral Reefers. No Charleston. No need.

I became born again in 1987, Minges Colliseum - Greenville, NC
Jimmy threatened to leave about halfway thru the show because idiots were throwing things on stage and fighting in the crowd. Luckily he finished the show !!! I must say that "A Pirate Looks at Forty" was very special in that venue !!!

I was at that show. Remember when Jimmy ran from the back of the crowd up to the stage and was high-fiving all the way up there?SMLCHNG wrote:1996 - Fiddlers Green Ampitheater.. I was such a virgin.
In fact, I was at both of those shows that week in Denver and then in Vegas too.
My first show was Fruitcakes September 1994 at the Woodlands outside Houston. It doesn't seem like 10 yeras ago.
