Hell Yea, my girlfriend and I did it! The tour guides name was dusty, he knew a ton of stuff, plus you get to see Jimmy's first house in KW! Well worth it. Make sure you are a drinker because that's half the tour! Have fun!

I contacted the website and they were extremely nice about adding a tour so that it would fit into our schedule. Now if only the "Hurricane Season" will cooperate. Oh well, guess you cannot reason with that!

Had Dusty as a guide last year. Pretty good story-teller.

what is this KW place you speak of? :D
some island off the coast of South Florida's mainland... apparently they have some interesting rituals such as people dressing up in dragon costumes, parading down the street with chickens and worshiping a drink concocted of tequila and lime juice :o
Buncha freaks I tell ya :o
Yeah, freaks! I hear at a 'convention' one year, some guy was riding one of those scooters, and he kinda had an accident, and his friends would never let him live it down, they kinda had ZERO tolerance for that kind of stuff.... 8) 8) 8)

Just wanted everyone to know that we did take the Trails of Margaritaville tour in Key West on July31 with Tim as our tour guide. It was worth every penny, and I highly suggest this little excursion to all--got to see where his KW studio is located and where the woman on Caroline Street lived. Very entertaining!
