On Second Listen...

Post by Matty »

I've listened to this album twice now and after the 2nd time, I look to the song that I immiediately go to first the 3rd time around. Now I like BIBOMO the best, and it's tied with Here We Are, but my first listen the 3rd time around was Regabilly Hill. That song is really growing on me. As is Hula Girl At Heart...
While the embers from the logfire
They flicker, fly and twirl
Then drift off towards the cosmos
From the Far Side Of The World

BIBOMO is still at the top with Here We Are, but Hula Girl At Heart is right up there, too. And I really like Everybody's On the Phone as much as I did live.

I can honestly say that there isn't one song that I can see skipping over on the play list..... :o

BIBOMO? Great, a whole 'nother set of acronyms to learn. :D :-?

I liked the ones that have been mentioned, plus CdMM and DOS. Can't wait to see the HWA video!

Too funny. I had to go look up Dukes on Sunday!!

SO many songs! Now this is the way to do an album. Put a bunch out there to really confuse those Libras who can't decide which ONE is best.

I gotta say, the harmonica on EOTP is just dynamite.

Still say BIBOMO is the most powerful and thought provoking song on there.

(Now I wanna hear the ones that didn't make the record!!)

I am looking forward to the replay this weekend. I was driving home from an afternoon of Golf  and listened to most of it in the car on Sirius. ( had to stop and buy beer ) Then had to make a mad dash to the veranda and set up the portable Sirius at the Tiki bar, (tough day). So far Bama breeze is my favorite but I think it is cause I have heard it the most. Looking forward to really listening to the other cuts when the album is out next week. So far I really like what I have heard.
