Can anyone else pickup the free stream from the RM site? Did Sirius/XM finally get it pulled because they now offer non-free streaming of all their content?

I just checked through Firefox, and the Lenware player I use. Both have RM currently up and running.

Lenware seems to require an XM account...

Ahhh...okay. I'm an satellite radio subscriber. Sorry to throw the thread off.

Okay, I installed Real Player and it is working. The Windows Media Player stream is still not working. My guess it is two different stream servers and the Media Player server is down.

In which case, a free stream would be a blessing, wouldn't it?

I couldn't get on at work but then again, I'm not sure how much of it is my office blocking it. (I got onto the website but it kept on trying to connect to media)

Nothing here, either - only tried the WM Hi & lo feeds, as I really don't want Real Player.

Ok, now I'm a little annoyed. I just spent the last 20 minutes re-typing my query to them for the 8th time about the WM problem because their site won't accept my message. It thinks the dang 'security code' is being typed incorrectly when it's not. It clears any typing from the form and displays an error message. It won't work if case & spacing are replicated exactly as shown or with spaces left out. So the feed is down and they won't take either requests or service complaints either. Sweet.

I know things can break on weekends when it's tough to get somebody in to fix it and I hate complaining about a free service, but when they won't even listen to your thoughts, it just gets me Irish up, it does...

Reposting here in hopes one of their DJs may be perusing the forums...

As mentioned on BuffettNews, the Windows Media feed - either broadband or dialup -is down. Has been since at least last night. Anybody feel like fixing it?

Would be sad to see this go away.

Went to the RM website and clicked on Real Player. It connected fine and playing clear. I have not tried the media player yet.

All of my music and video access has been disabled at work, and the few things that aren't blocked could still get me in trouble for clicking them. Yeah, stupid bandwidth crap. All of the daytime people ruined it for us evening folks. XM eqipment on the way w/a car kit and a BOOMBOX for work! I'll pay for my own signal, as much as I hate it, I'll do it.
