Nautical Wheelers Request For 9/4/10 in Bristow VA!!!!
EDIT: 8/16/10: I am reviving my original campaign for the purpose of showing longevity and widespread support for my cause
Edit: 9/4/09 @ 1am. Am I too early to start begging for next year? Obviously I didn't start my shameless begging early enough this year.
Hi Jimmy. It's me again. FunkHouse9. Remember me? I wrote to you last year hinting about how awesome it would be for you to play Nautical Wheelers at the Nissan Pavilion show. Anywho, I'm here to mention that you forgot to play it last year and to give you a friendly reminder again that I really, really really would like to hear you play Nautical Wheelers in person before one of us dies. It's such a great song and it's a shame that you don't dust it off more often. Wouldn't it be great to know you're really making a fan's day. I'm not asking that you dedicate it to me. Hell, pretend the pretty blonde in the second row screamed it out and dedicate it to her for all I care. Anyway, just wanted to remind you that you were going to play that for me. That'd be great.
Thanks!

You might be in luck as Jimmy has already used that song in an encore this year.
Now I know this Joe down in Mexico.
He went there to work on his tan.
For years he's been plugged into blenders and songs.
They call him the Twelve Volt Man

Oh Saint Jude Thaddeus.... Patron Saint of lost causes... I need you!
If I had one wish that I could wish this summer, it would be for Jimmy to play Nautical Wheelers at Nissan Pavilion on September 3rd. If I had two wishes I could make this summer, the first would be for Jimmy to play Nautical Wheelers at Nissan Pavilion on September 3rd. And the second would be for 30 million dollars a month to be given to me, tax-free in a Swiss bank account. You know, if I had three wishes I could make this holiday season, the first, of course, would be for Jimmy to play Nautical Wheelers this Thursday, the second would be for the 30 million dollars every month to me, and the third would be for encompassing power over every living being in the entire universe. And if I had four wishes that I could make this holiday season, the first would be the crap about the song definitely, the second would be for the 30 million, the third would be for all the power, and the fourth would be to set aside one month each year to have an extended 31-day orgasm, to be brought out slowly by Rosanna Arquette and that model Paulina-somebody, I can't think of her name. Of course my lovely wife can come too and she's behind me one hundred percent here, I guarantee it. Wait a minute, maybe the sex thing should be the first wish, so if I made that the first wish, because it could all go boom tomorrow, then what do you got, y'know? No, no, the song, the song would be great, that would be nice. But wait a minute, who am I kidding? That might not happen. I mean, the logistics of the thing is impossible, more trouble than it's worth! So -- we reorganize! Here we go. First, the sex thing. We go with that. Second, the money. No, we go with the power second, then the money. And then the song. Oh wait, oh jeez, I forgot about revenge against my enemies! Okay, I need revenge against all my enemies, they should die like pigs in hell! That would be my fourth wish. And, of course, my fifth wish would be for Jimmy to play Nautical Wheelers at Nissan Pavilion on Thursday, September 3rd.

I'm not sure how my desperate plea is going to get the attention it deserves if it keeps falling down the list of recent posts. This deserves every bit as much attention as the dating a shirt thread did.

I am disappointed that you people aren't taking this seriously. As far as things happening this Thursday are concerned, this is at the top of my priority list, short of making it home alive.Hockey Mon wrote:Ha. You are one funny mo-fo.

Re: My Annual (Same) Song Request For 9/3 @ Nissan Pavilion
I did get into a bit of a verbal scuffle leaving Nissan one year. I don't remember what show it was. Some woman I didn't even know started some s*** with me for no reason and we were screaming at each other for quite a while because I wouldn't let it go. Fortunately, her big boyfriend/husband stayed out of it but I was afraid of what he was going to do. I called her every name I could think of and just as I ran out of verbal ammunition, I struck GOLD. I stopped and said something like "You know what, I'm sorry. Not to you though. I'm sorry to him because he has to deal with you every night. I really feel bad for him. I'm lucky because I'll forget you as soon as I leave. He's got to put up with you for God only knows how long... although he shouldn't." He should have whooped my ass. Instead, I could see him fighting back laughter. I swear I thought he was going to high-five me after saying that.Hockey Mon wrote:Have you ever been in danger of not making it home alive?FunkHouse9 wrote:I am disappointed that you people aren't taking this seriously. Considering the (assumed) blood alcohol level of some people I saw getting into vehicles after the Alpine Valley show, yes.Hockey Mon wrote:Have you ever been in danger of not making it home alive?FunkHouse9 wrote:I am disappointed that you people aren't taking this seriously.
