Mauishirts has a sale going on for the next couple of days. I've ordered from them before and they have some great patterns.

Found really cute sandals at Burlington coat Factory. Price: $7.99 - $9.99. Very good quality and I found them to be very comfortable. There is a choice of the flat sandal or the wedge heel.

These sound great! Kohl's has some great candles that have seashells right in the candle and a tiny starfish tied on it with a piece of jute.KruzinParrots wrote:Family Dollar just put on display their nautical themed kitchen and house decor items. Those items include:

Knowing what wonderful tropical shoppers you all are , could you please keep a lookout for a cutting board - preferably one with adirondack chairs on it? Joetownparrothead has a picture of a beautiful one on the recipe thread (under "Grillin' Time, or something like that!), but it was handpainted in Hawaii. I painted a set of chairs and a couple of tables for the dock at our cabin in very bright colors that we've become sort of "known for" on our lake. I think it's time to start having some fun with that theme! Thanks ahead of time for looking everyone!

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
Ladies I gotta tell you about the new snadals I found at Walmart. They are by Danskin. They are their version of the Sketcher Tone up sandals. We own the Sketchers and love them! They really do tone your legs. But what we really like is that they can be stylish.
Anyway, we found these Danskin sandals to be pretty comparable and at a very reasonable price. $12.00
Our store had three colors: silver, black sparkle and brown leather (plain).
They were located on a side isle panel.
We bought a couple pairs and really like them.

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
Stopped at Macy's last night. They have a really good sale going on for their clearance. There is also some good coupons.
While there we saw the new tropical prints by Alfred Dunner that they just unpacked and put on display. The greensih blue colors are the thing this season. They have a nice palm print that we thought was really pretty. So check it out.
Also saw some nice tops by INC.
The other label I like for tropical prints is Breckenridge. We have several of their tops and LOVE them!! The Bon Ton and JC Penney always have a large selelction. i think you can find them at Macy's also. But the other stores I mentioned in our area have a bigger selection.

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
Thanks so much for the suggestions on the cutting board.
We were in Menards last night looking for lights when I ran across a neon wall light that said "It's 5 o'clock Somewhere." When my husband looked closer, they have many to choose from that you can special order including a "Margaritaville" one! They are SO cool! I'm thinking the side of our sauna at our cabin will be decorated this summer!
