I know stores have to stay ahead of the season, but it's gotten so that you can't find a coat after November or a bathing suit after May! And when they start playing Christmas music with the Columbus Day sales, I think it's gone too far!

I went to Bath and Body Works today to get some of their foaming soap.

they have a bunch of new fragrances....tropical related.

Island Margarita, Mango Margarita, Caribbean Escape, Passionfruit Pomegranite, Hawaiin coconut, citrus, Bali something or another and a few others I can't remember.

I got some of the Island Margarita soap and the citrus one.

Stopped at Yankee Candle yesterday. Bought the tropical X-Mas jar candle topper. It was clearanced for $3.00.

While there I also found the following scents in liquid hand soap and hand sanitizer.

Vanilla Lime

pineapple cilantro

sage and citrus

sun and sand

coconut

Isn't that cute? I wish I would have hit the store up a little earlier to pick up their other tropical candle holders.

Did you happen to smell any of the samples of the hand soaps? I have the sun and sands and its like using Coppertone straight out of the bottle. :-?

So what do you think? Does the lid snap on tight?
Big enough to hold enough in each compartment, or is it smaller than it looks?

This past Saturday I walked into BJ's Wholesale club..looking at LED and LCD tvs. I ended walking out (after paying of course) with two Tommy Bahama Beach chairs that have a drink holder, cooler pouch, and straps to your back like a backpad for $32.99 each!

The door checker got such a kick that I was buying beach chairs in winter. I told her if I didn't start thinking about summer..I was going to go absolutely insane! Off I went...to my Jeep...with my beach chairs and put JB's 2010 Camden show on while I drove off! Ahhh what a great temporary state of mind! 8)

I did smell the hand lotions and sanitizers at Yankee Candle. I didn't think the Sun and Sand had a strong smell at all. The sample bottle I smelled seemed rather mild. I really liked the vanilla lime, pineapple cilantro and coconut. But that is just my personal preference.

I just love Bath and Body!! Our local store had some of the Island Margarita last year. It sold out quickly. Glad they will be carrying it this season.

I sooooo see a trip to that store very soon!!

Went to the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo yesterday and found the best boat drink mixes ever!

They have 8 flavors, powdered mixes that can be blended with juices, beers, wines, liquors to make great frozen drinks, or serve over ice.

I got orange (awesome with Blue Moon), hibiscus (incredible with blackberry Merlot) and lemon-lime.

They also have strawberry, tangerine, mango, pineapple and strawberry.

Not a bad price either for 2 blenders full for $7.95.
But it looks like they are at trade shows only right now.

Went to Burlington Coat Factory, and they had all the tropical Yankee votive candles holders for great prices, about 1/2 the price of YC. Tiki Gods, fish, parrots and sand chairs.
