Golf Cart Accident Frisco Pizza Hut Park 5/21 6pm

There was a serious accident on Frisco St. near Main St. just east of Pizza Hut Park at 6pm. A guy about 30-35 years old fell of the back of a golf cart as it was making a sharp turn and his head hit the concrete first, sustaining a serious head injury. I am just a concerned person, as I witnessed the whole incident, and wondering if anyone knows how he is doing? Paramedics got to him within 5-7 minutes, but judging by the amount of blood loss, it did not look good.

We passed by there on the way to the concert... They were still working on someone(still in the street) but we couldn't tell what had happened. Phin power to him!!

That was a woman who fell off of the cart. I was directly behind them when it happened and had to hit my brakes to avoid hitting them. That guy driving the cart made a very fast u-turn in front of us. She was in the back along with another woman. She was knocked out and the driver of the cart came back and tried to roll her over. Luckily another man stopped him before he could do any more damage to her. We stayed there for about 5 minutes and I never did see her move a muscle. The beer bottle she was holding completely shattered. She hit the pavement extremely hard. I hope she is alright.

this one was a guy - i was the first one there, and he literally had a hole open up in the side of his head, w/ his brain exposed. Worst accident I have seen in my life. I question if he survived.

Been wondering about the liability issue with such a long tailgate. I know I was in way over my head. We say we'll look out for each other, but sometimes we're all so far gone, it doesn't work out.

Wondered what happened to her as we were walking to the concert.

Can't find anything in the papers about the accidents. I am surprised there weren't more people hurt the way some of those people were driving those things!

I want to thank those individuals for the well wishes and update all. I am the guy that fell off the golf cart and need to clear up the rumors. It was an accident and not a good one. There was no brain matter exposed. Lot of blood lose from head wounds. I was unconscious for up to 5 minutes, once conscious I could not answer the EMS questions appropriately (date, place, time, president) so that made it more serious and was moved somewhere to be put on helicopter and CareFlite'd to Parkland Hospital. It was hours later before I knew what happened and was coherent. CT and xrays were all negative, no skull fracture or internal bleeding. I received a concussion and some vertebral swelling that caused my right hand to be numb/tingly/painful. I have many internal sutures and 11 sutures to close the wound. It is now 4 days later and I am just now feeling somewhat normal, I was very lucky.

I look forward to seeing eveyone at another concert if I am allowed to go. Fins to the left.

Man, glad to hear you made it thru that one. I was in a white Lexus next to you when you went airborne, and we could hear your head crack when you hit, with the windows rolled up and music on. You are one lucky guy.
