I think it ebbs and flows.....I haven't been listening to Buffett much at all lately.
Looking at Vegas dates, but will admit that it's not with the same enthusiasm that I have in the past.
Lots of life changes, priorities change/shift.....the one thing that doesn't change is how much
I love the people that being a parrothead have brought into my life.....it's all good.

wPs - I'm almost more excited at the thought of the rest of the GW weekend than the concert itself. I saw Peter 2 weeks ago and I was just as excited about that as any JB concert. While I'm sure I'll have a great time I"m not counting the days like I used to. And finally, it IS all about the people I've met, priceless.

Ed..Newport is only 45 minutes or so from GW..Nuff said

But Newport is about 8 hours from my home.

Bristow is 2 hours......AC about 5 hours.......Pittsburgh 3 hours.

Just getting easier to sit at home, relaxing, listening to RM.......

Honestly, we've seen Peter Mayer in concert now more than Jimmy.....and will continue to do so!

From 79 to 05, I saw a minimum of two shows a year and generally got in one or two more most years, with a couple of years with four or five. Since 05 it's been one or since 08 zero shows a year. Given that I generally go to Vegas for a show, the weekend will run between $1500 and $2000 and for that money, I can do other things. I've survived though I do miss the fun weekend.

We met our friends (PA Parrot & Saltx3) there one Sunday evening about a month after it opened, the place had been crowded from the start. The list of "issues" is as follows:

and taking my son and daughter to their first
Jimmy Buffett concert this year.

The Jiffy Lube lame tailgating policy
might actually make it easier to introduce
them to a decidedly toned downed
tailgating party experience
(they are ages 13 and 15 respectively).

I haven't sat on the lawn in over 20 years,
but what the heck? Might be fun to take my kids.

My wife has been spoiled over the years,
she won't go unless I have front row orchestra
center section.
