Buffett collection for sale....now on EBay
I have a friend that has been collecting Buffett items.
" I’m selling my entire collection (since early 90s) consisting of tons of pix, some autographed, CDs, 45s, LPs (promos, foreign releases, etc.), concert shirts, newsletters, magazines, miscellaneous"
The first group has been posted on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jimmy-Buffett-4 ... 4173169462
If anyone is interested in buying her collection---all or some, I will send you her email address.
Thank you!

Actually, she is at the "I've got too much stuff" stage and trying to pare some of it down.chippewa wrote:So she's at Stage 8 then?

She has added:
I have an autographed oar and an autographed small anchor– with Certificate of Authenticity for each.
Also, a bill from I think the 70s maybe 80s where him and the band stayed at a hotel and ordered in…. it’s a really neat piece … seems like something went with it – I forget now.
Tons of the Margaritaville magazines….

A museum is no place for stuff like this, vinyl was meant to be played, listened to and enjoyed, not hung on a wall somewhere.

I am missing some vinyl pieces for my collection that I would be interested in. As long as the price was right.

Re: Huge Buffett collection for sale
With the exception of stuff like Down To Earth, High Cumberland Jubilee and Off to See the Lizard, the majority of Buffett's albums shouldn't be all that difficult to find on vinyl. I know in my area, I'm blessed with several new and used record stores but those albums also tend to pop up in thrift shops, yard sales, etc. At least that's been my experience. In other words, there's no need to pay inflated prices for them through outlets like eBay where bidders can drive the prices up far beyond what they're actually worth. By the way, I'm not referring to this particular auction, just how eBay works in general. I know of a local used record shop owner that flat out refuses to go the eBay route as far as buying/selling used albums for that very reason. I once saw a blank cassette on eBay with a starting bid of $50. There's really no need in that sort of ridiculousness but someone out there bought it.

Would you mind sending me info on the oar and anchor via PM? seems like the kind of foolish purchase i'd make after a couple drinks...springparrot wrote:She has added:
