As a daily RM listener am I the ONLY one who can't stand hearing the new DJ Jasmine? Her voice, her delivery...it all just grates at my nerves . I miss Carson

I wouldn't consider myself a fan of Matt by any means...but this Jasmine and her 'valley girl' voice makes me like him MUCH more! Lol

She really is quite lame! I heard her earlier in the week and thought she was a temporary DJ...I found this forum (and the news about Carson) when I googled her name. Maybe she's just nervous and will get better with time? ~fingers crossed~!

Thank you for the welcome! Hopefully, with time she'll improve. It has to be an intimidating job in the beginning, Tonight I switched from Radio Margaritaville to my downloaded albums while she was on.

Heard Jasmine too. She will improve. ANYONE is better than MATT HOGGATT! He is plain awful. I too miss Carson.

I only listen to RM in the car and it isn't the only station I listen to so I've never heard the new DJ, or Matt Hoggatt. But I have to say, I like Kirsten a lot more than I used to. When she's on, I'll leave RM on more than when the other DJs are on.

I'm not a fan of Matt's by any means, but you're right, at least he has some knowledge about Jimmy and the RM playlist. I simply cannot find a single redeeming quality for Jasmine, though. She sounds downright clueless every time she cracks the mic! Given the fact she's based in Nashville, my hunch is that she's a pal of Kirsten, who I believe makes the programming decisions these days. I do hope she improves, but this is a tough sell right now.
