A fifth of Mount Gay rum some Margaritaville tequila and a twelve pack of corona light ... hit the roof in raleigh ... on the road back to east bend ... restocking with Myers and Montego Bay and more light ... headin to charlotte tomorrow ... crash at billy's then stock up for greensboro ... it's all in the pacing
Here's what it looked like before the spelling checker got ahold of it: a fitfh of mohft gau dum and a beera and daaka aasd;sa

several people showed for the pre pre party as darryl did his usual masterful job and the caribbean cowboys were pretty cool too
rock 92 taped a live remote for later broadcast and the local corona rep was there to give out tickets to contest winners
vendors are set up on the pool hall side of the bar with some great shirts and stuph
they do it all again at 12 today with food too!
gotta go get some beer!
if any one is interested in the party check out the phoftriad.com website

wow greensboro was great
the parking lot opened at three, you were supposed to be discrete with liquor and wine but beer is ok we ran the blender anyway and kept the hooch in a papar sack this keep the ferretkeets away from the stash anyhoo
the sound was better than last year but when jimmy would go into a long dialogue you had trouble understanding him
it was a most excellent mix of songs
this show didn't sell out till just days before (i guess because of three within 150 miles plus this was indoors} we had purposely bought the middle price seats at this venue because we knew we would probably be closer than 80 percent of the high price tix we were in 130 angled towards the back corner of the stage
we had a lot of first timers around us and it seemed like they enjoyed the show thouroghly
well like jimmy said I gotta get ready for church!!!!!

Re: DON'T DREAM IT BE IT !!!!!!!
yea aunty
I did go to charlotte a few years back, spent about a grand, going to broadass billys and two nights in charlotte for the cert
carribean cowpokes, jope bennet and who else was there?
anyway I was pretty sure that broke the bank for me but here it is years later, I tried to figure out my login a month or two ago but had an inspiration today, I bet my acct is linked to an old email address since I couldn't retrieve it
did just post to the charlotte thread too

Re: DON'T DREAM IT BE IT !!!!!!!
picked up some corona light for the concert in charlotte
anyone tried this modelo beer called VICTORIA just saw it in the store here but not in all local stores yet
we are thinking burgers grilled shrimp on skewers and grilled kabobs with onions pineapple green peppers and zuchini
mai tais bearuh and a smallish amount of quervo gold
I seldom hit the liqour store anymore and was stunned to see that nc abc stores no longer carry margaritaville T in little shot bottles!
man a few years back we went up to VA to grab a case of monte alban with a worm in every shot!!!!

Re: DON'T DREAM IT BE IT !!!!!!!
cool
glad I wasnt in a coma like the last time!
this time it only took two tries to get into the thread!
I was out of town for a con this weekend, got logged into ticketlivemonsternation only 2 minutes till 10, luckily I had updated my cc info a couple weeks ago to buy bravos tix!
I scored sec 8 row K in charlotte and plopped down 60 beans for the vip dealio!
of course, we expect to get parking space #1 in the lot, this would be 3 straight concerts here for that ifn it works out that way!
We wuz in cozumel last month on a cruise and hit margartittieville there! last stop before we hopped a cab back to the boat.!
let me tell you, JALAPENO POPPERS IN MEXICO are an altogether different animal than tgiffinfridays!
hoooboyeahhh! BUT at least I had Superior to wash em down with!
