Here is the information for the Lone Star Parrot Head Club Bowling for Kids Sake supporting DFW Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Feel free to setup a team or join a team. If you setup a team start the team name with LSPHC.

Remember we will be bowling the day after John Frinzi so there may be alot of gutter balls. But its not about the bowling its about raising money for the kids and having fun doing it.

Bowl For Kids Sake benefiting Big Brothers/Big Sisters

Saturday July 10, 2010 @ 12:30 PM - Arlington:

Forum Bowl - 2001 South Great Southwest Parkway, Grand Prairie, Texas 75051 (same joint as last year)

Phollow the link below to start a team or join an existing team!!!!
http://www.kintera.org/faf/home/waiver. ... 308D5DFC
Teams can have as many as 6 bowlers, each bowler raising at least $100 each. Each bowler will receive 2 games of bowling, rental of those classy bowling shoes, pizza, soda, and a t-shirt. LSPHC has become a valued contributor to this event each year, so please come out, bowl a couple of games, have some phun and help the Big Brother/Big Sister organization. Get you teams together. Use the chat group if you are looking to phorm a team or join one.

We will be getting a team together for this....... Hope to have it set up by tomorrow.....any takers? We could use a couple of more on our team, or we can start another team....we went last year and had a blast...an amazing group of people and a wonderful cause..

I can't be in Arlington bowling and putting the boat in the water at the same time, but it's for a good cause and I want to help.
So, I started a team called the LSPHC Absentee Bowling Boaters (thanks to wheatsailor for the name!)

I need 5 more people for the team. The only rules are that noone from our team shows up to bowl, and we should commit to raising or donating at least $100 each.
(I set the team goal at $1k but we should be able to beat that if we get some people working together).

Here's the link if anyone wants to join the team or make a donation to benefit North Texas Big Brothers Big Sisters;

Go Team Absentees!

Truly was our night to win

Yippee, now I have 2 parties with you....and no work!!! The hardest thing I'll be doing in Dallas this time is carrying in a sack of canned goods Friday evening and applying sunscreen on Saturday! Maybe we can both stay awake this time! [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

Hey all,
I am really excited about the word of mouth response I have had from those that are coming to see John Frinzi and also to help me celebrate my 50th birthday.

Due to the buzz going on we need to know who is coming so we make sure we have sufficient seating and also enough food for the buffet. The venue has Fire Marshall approved seating for 197 people.

If you are coming out to party with us I need an email from you.
Please send back channel to portmaster@tx.rr.com
with the following:

Name
Number in your party
Other information important for the evening.
EVERYONE Please bring a state issued photo ID. Your ID will be checked at the door. No one under 21 will be admitted. TABC is brutal.
There is a $10 cover per person at the door.
No outside liquor may be brought in to the venue.
This event will be the final drop off point for the LSPHC food drive for the North Texas Food Bank. Please bring non-perishable foods. I understand that boxes of cereal are huge this time of year.
Don Burke will be playing from 7:00-8:00pm. John Frinzi will be playing from 8:30-11:30pm.
John Frinzi will have CD for sale. We will also have some Port Pirate t-shirts available.
A raffle will be held benefiting the Portmasters Big Brothers and Big Sisters Bowling for Kids Sake team. (Yes! I still Party with a Purpose on my birthday.)
FINS UP ^
