It's Thunderstorm Saturday @ The MSC

After that nasty storm this morning it turned into a really nice day, until now. There are a lot of dark clouds out there and I just got a severe thunderstorm warning on my phone.

The Baltimore Oriole's 10 game losing streak (and Seattle's 3 game winning streak) is over.

I was watching the Pelicans on TV and they're actually winning but they just put the tarp on the field. It isn't raining by me yet but I guess the weather is worse 9 miles to the north.

Yikes -- I'm really late stumbling into the MSC! Not sure where the day went but it was the nicest weather day we've had in a few weeks. Lots of sun, mid 70s with a nice wind and little humidity. I had a few places to hit this morning and then I decided to crash a friend's pool . All this while Kevin put in 6 hours at the Home Brew Shop. We just spent a few hours a another friend's lovely deck and shared some good food & beverages.

And the Astros lost another one....7 in a row.

The Pelicans had a 2 hour rain delay but the game just started again and there are hardly any fans left in the stands. If I drove to the ballpark now, I wonder if they would let me in free?

There's at least one Astros fan at the Pelicans game. There's a guy sitting a couple of rows behind the visiting team's dugout wearing an Astros jersey.

Was a pretty good day for her, so thank you all for the birthday wishes. My sister/ BIL, nephew, his wife, and great nephew did some Wi bowling (Mom is good at it), had some birthday cookies, and then got her back to Memory Care, cause it was time to let her calm back down again.
