I worked in a 7-11 one summer in high school.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Good morning Linda and Nancy. The Coasters sang "7 come 11 down in the boy's gym" in the song Charlie Brown.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I've worked in the legal field for 38 yrs. Many of those in the Family Law side; the past 11 in mostly criminal but some civil.

Today I'm going on a "field trip" to the Lancaster County Prison. We're getting a ride in one of the sheriff's transport vans.

All I know is it's 82 degrees outside which means it will be at least 90 in the prison :o

Did the usual day off chores, got prettied up and went to the BMV to renew my driver's license. Took the necessary documents to apply for the enhanced ID. Happily surprised I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I guess there's a first time for everything! Trying a new casserole for dinner and not doing much of anything else. Happy Thursday, stay safe coastal peeps.

No 7-11 in our area. Seems like there used to be, but no longer.

Beginning to rain in the Galveston area....not sure what is going to happen, but we restocked our hurricane food supplies...all except batteries. Couldn't find them but will keep looking.

And the Astros have the only game on tonight. Not sure why no other teams are playing. Who knows. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Hi there! I made reservations and cancelled reservations after prepping supplies for Cincy. I bought 4 new brushes for body art.Two weren't so good, two were great. Win some loose some.

so wish you were going to be in Detroit......I would LOVE to see you and let my daughter's first "tattoo" be from you :)

Linda, how did the field trip go? I hope you have having a cool drink now.

Had eye appointments today and my prescription changed for the first time in several years. My left eye went from a -6.5 to a -8 contact. I think it is all wonky since the dilation stuff really affected me something fierce. I have the tester "coke bottle" lens out and my old lens in and it is much better. Told them to hold up on my new glasses until I try to survive with the new lens for a few days. I am thinking he may need to do a redo without my eyes dilated just to be safe. They called and wanted to know if I wanted progressive lenses. NOOOOOOOOOO I don't WANT them.........however, it may be time to consider them. Maybe I will jump when I am 55 but now I am still good with plain ole glasses than can burn ants in less than a minute. :)
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

I feel the same Mel. If Cincy had not been so close, I was coming to the D this year. Maybe next year.
