Good morning Linda and BN. I have an appointment at a funeral home to receive money. My father pre paid for his funeral and didn't tell anyone. We used a different funeral home for his service!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning, Linda, Bill & BN!

Working this morning. The keet arrives this afternoon, he's visiting for a few days between his summer job ending and classes starting again. So that makes me a very happy mama. :D

Good morning.

Since I became a Pelicans season ticket holder in 2016, I've always picked opening day and the last home game of the season then spread the rest of my games out so I don't have too many in any month. The last home game is Thursday. I don't know why, but I took my ticket out this morning. It's for tomorrow, not Thursday. I would have missed the game if I hadn't looked at the ticket today.

Been busy cleaning today, and I've done all I'm gonna do. The rest will wait till my next day off which is Thursday.
It's hot hot hot 🔥 🔥 🔥 and humid today, so I'm staying inside.
Just need to figure out something easy for dinner.

His school is about four hours away and he worked an internship near there over the summer. I just saw him two weeks ago on my way back after Holmdel show, I stopped halfway and met him for lunch. But I'll be happy to have a few days with him.

I don't have the magic touch of luck that it seems Larry has but I enter sweepstakes & take surveys for several companies. For years I've been entering coke product codes that friends collect for me (since we don't drink soda at Ringville).

Sometimes I have enough entries for a free Shutterfly book or a 12-pack of coke products but nothing extremely valuable or exciting. When I've got nothing else to do (which is rare) I log into my account and enter various sweepstakes.

I just got an email from Coca-Cola saying I won a $250 e-gift card from Best Buy -- hot diggity dog -- I'm going shopping for something that I would not have otherwise bought :)

At every Pelicans game I've been to this year, 2 employees go on the field after (I think) the 6th inning and announce 2 special deals that are only good during the next inning. One of the employees always says "Treat yo'self."

BTW, the biggest gift card I've ever won was $15. I'm not that lucky.

It's almost 6:00 and the heat index is still 97. I think I'll have a frosty beverage. 🍺

Evening BNers

Been a quiet, hot day. It rained this morning but the driveway didn't get wet. Other parts of this area got inches of rain.

Evening BN.

It was hot & humid here today too.
Spent most of it inside but had to take mom to a Dr's appt this afternoon.
Had an early dinner with her & am now enjoying a (well deserved - bless her heart) beer at the tiki.
It's storming & raining it's arse off here. This storm has cooled it off enough to be enjoyable to sit outside & watch.
Just trying to participate and make SP proud

A) are you actually going to spend it? [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
B) are you gonna get something for yourself??

Had to go to urgent care to get pain killers and muscle relaxants. Sciatica killing me. Finally made an orthopedic appointment.
