Gee, I was hoping you'd make it Thursday!!
Leaving a little early. Like now. Stupid drivers caused an accident on the highway that we drive on, so gotta take another way in.
Have a good Wednesday!

Good morning and Happy Chisholm Trail Day to everyone.
(You REALLY have to be old to get my little innuendo).
I’m old.
No fair googling either. You either get it or you don’t.

I got nuthin'. I'm almost "REALLY" old but I had a very strict/religious upbringing so a lot of what was happening as I was growing up never made it to me.Wino you know wrote: ↑October 23, 2019 11:48 am Good morning and Happy Chisholm Trail Day to everyone.

Hi there! I know a little of the Chisum trail, but nothing of an innuendo.
Anne purchased a cute bath tub shark toy that wiggles it's tail and sings Baby Shark for our 3 year old great niece. (I was hoping it wasn't a gift for me).

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I was glad when the baseball season ended. The Pelicans used to play that Baby Shark song every night, now I don't have to hear it anymore.bodypainter wrote: ↑October 23, 2019 3:25 pm Hi there! I know a little of the Chisum trail, but nothing of an innuendo.

Garry, I'm pretty old and I don't get the reference either.
Bill, not gonna lie, I thought it was for you until I got to the end.

Google the song “Chisholm Trail” by Woody Guthrie- listen to the first few lines of the song.Saltx3 wrote: ↑October 23, 2019 1:03 pmI got nuthin'. You’re not officially old until you have to start paying more for your birthday candles than you do for the cake.lime rickie wrote: ↑October 23, 2019 6:28 pm Garry, I'm pretty old and I don't get the reference either.
You still have a ways to go.
For me, that ship has sailed.
Re: NOW it's WED @ the MSC
Was fun to be back to work Monday and Tuesday for the first time since surgery. Not! I was exhausted. Was greeted with a carjacking call.

Re: NOW it's WED @ the MSC
Evening to anyone who might be up. I know Molly is, watching baseball. We're watching, too.
Bad day for me with my back/belly/feet. Did this same thing a week ago today, and I'm hoping it's just the change in weather pressure. Feet are almost completely numb, back is screaming twinges.
Went to another Assisted Living facility after work with my sister. The chef (Holly) where my Mom lives, was in a cooking competition with 2 other Chefs from other Assisted Living places (Kinda liked Chopped/Iron Chef). We got a full meal, with dessert. They all cooked great foods, and they were tasty. For those who know me? I hate green vegetables. But I tried a baby Brussels Sprout. Yep, still disgusting. We had a lamb chop, sweet potato puree, salmon, salad, chicken. ALL prepared well, SO NOT like 'cafeteria' type food. Kathy (sister) and I loved most of it, but some things needed salt. And Holly's food is so good, that Mom has gained (much needed) 10 lbs in 2 months.
Drove home in a lot of wet snow, and it'll be a mess in the morning. Off to bed. Traffic/stupid drivers will be out there in the morning.
Holly's story is pretty amazing.
