Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning!
It's a busy "National Day" today:
Beer Can Appreciation Day
Peanut Butter Day
National Compliment Day
So -- here's your assignment:
Grab a can of beer, a spoonful of peanut butter and compliment the first person you see holding said beer & peanut butter

Good Morning Gang!
I've got a few cans of Peanut Butter Porter in the fridge. I figure I can find some reason to compliment myself while drinking one of them.....thus completing the Trifecta!!

Good morning all. I am off beer at the house for now, have peanut butter several times a week and I will find a compliment somewhere.
Enjoy your day, pholks.

Good morning BN. I certainly will appreciate a beer can this afternoon, a big no on the peanut butter and I'll look for someone to compliment, probably the girl at the beer store.

Even though it's 7 years since I left, I still keep up with the NY sports teams. Eli Manning made it official, he announced his retirement today. He played the most games in Giants franchise history, 7th all time in NFL history in passing yards and touchdown passes, but also 12th all time in interceptions. One of only 5 players to win 2 Super Bowl MVPs.

Saw a good one on facebook. Picture of Eli & Daniel Jones. Daniel Jones essentially announces Jason Garrett is new OC for Giants. Eli says...I'm outa here.......LIPH wrote: ↑January 24, 2020 12:49 pm Even though it's 7 years since I left, I still keep up with the NY sports teams. He can thank David Tyree for 1 of those MVP's....

Re: Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
Hi everyone!
I got lucky with a snow/ice day today which worked perfectly since I have been sick most of the week and didn't go into work Wednesday or Thursday. I really didn't want to go today but felt s guilty not going yesterday that i was dragging myself in. The phone call saying school was closed was a blessing especially since it wasn't expected.
I have 1 bottle of Killians and a can of Rubaeus in the fridge and neither sound good to me today. Peanut butter sounds even worse. I guess I will at least do the complimenty thing and say "I like your honesty today, Melissa."
Enjoy your Friday, kids. I am thinking it is time for a nap.

I have to make a quick, unplanned, supermarket run. After having lunch, there's no milk left for tomorrow morning's corn flakes.

Re: Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
I heard a couple of TV networks are considering hiring Eli. I don't see it, his personality is completely opposite his brother's, and he sure doesn't need the money. I couldn't believe this when I heard it, but Eli Manning has made more money than any player in the history of the NFL.

There was rain in the forecast but it was just overcast most of the day. It's freakin' pouring now.

Re: Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
Not seeing a network role, but who thought Romo would be engaging/funny? Eli said he is not interested in coaching. Front office role, public relations, something like that seems likely. He's respected in that market.LIPH wrote: ↑January 24, 2020 4:44 pm I heard a couple of TV networks are considering hiring Eli. Re: Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
I can see the Giants keeping him on the payroll and his job description would be something along the lines of "be Eli Manning."

Re: Trifecta FRIDAY @ the MSC
I believe by the time Matt Stafford's contract runs it's course he will be the highest paid NFL player in history. He's only a few mil behind Eli at this point. Not a whole lotta bang for that buck!!LIPH wrote: ↑January 24, 2020 4:44 pm I heard a couple of TV networks are considering hiring Eli.
