Why in the world of all the places to wander, would you pick a Dollar Tree?springparrot wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 5:03 pm Late Afternoon BNers
Not sure why I didn't check in earlier.
Anyone else getting tired of being housebound?? I know I am taking this to the extreme but I'm ready to wander through a store. Just let me wander around a Dollar Tree. Of course, I would rather be in the store alone.
When will this be over?????

I don't know. Seems silly but I don't want a dept store or grocery store. No hardware or sporting goods. Just seems logical to me. You might be surprised how much I buy from Dollar Tree. Cosmetics, plastic bins, food, crafts, paper goods. I don't know. Just relaxing for me. And so many brand names.MICHIPHIN wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 5:49 pmWhy in the world of all the places to wander, would you pick a Dollar Tree?springparrot wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 5:03 pm Late Afternoon BNers

my string of bad luck fixing things keeps getting worse. Went to trim some of the palm trees, so got my lawn tractor out and I have (or now "had") a small tow behind trailer that use to collect all the palms and bring back to the trash can. The F*&k!ng wheel fell off. Axel was then bent. Off to Lowes later to get another.......

Hi there! I had a great day on water. It was a cool, sunny day. A five mile boat ride required gloves. This polar vortex is getting trdious.
Geez, Rabz and Michi, you two sure deserve some cold ones after those issues.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Today is our Friday!! Wish we were traveling to PA, but at least we have 4 days off together.
Our plans? Cooking, grocery store, HAIR CUTS, car washes, cooking, liquor store, walks, and a Mom visit.

(A) Galveston is not a beach, ...just a place where water meets land, but it would still do in an emergency as such.springparrot wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 7:07 pmBars aren't open.MICHIPHIN wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 6:19 pmwhy not stroll around a beach bar, amusement park or nudey bar??springparrot wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 6:01 pmI don't know. (B) Is there a local carnival in town? The Carnies may be better suited to be around than the Dollar Tree.....
(C) Health experts, I got this from Moogy, say that the Corona virus can last for 24 hours on fabric such as clothing, but only minutes on the human skin.
Option C may be your best choice.........and we may be able to assemble a group gathering to assist a friend in need....

Yea. As far as I know it didn't close. Never did. It was essential because of food.SMLCHNG wrote: ↑May 13, 2020 8:28 pmMolly, is the store open?? It has been my choice....well, with a push from my family, not to go out. As of May 15, it will be 2 months since I have been in public. We have had deliveries but I have not seen anyone that doesn't live here. Again. My choice.
