Hi and great to see you, Cuervo!!! :D

I'm off the computer. I'm soooooo tired of so much negative crap. Covid, riots, and general ignorance and stupidity.

At least we had a successful space launch. :)

Cuervo! Long time no see
Hey Long time. Sure miss being around. It sure is funny how things have changed and time has flown by. I was looking at my tag line and it’s hard to believe it’s been 2006 since the last time I’ve been to Key West. The day of Old I would have been down there every other weekend. How things have changed.

There's a really cool free app called "Skyview" for your phone... https://apps.apple.com/us/app/skyview/id404990064
With the app open, you can point your phone at a celestial object and the app will identify it. Conversely, if you put in an word like "moon" or "Venus" or "ISS" it will show which way to point your phone to find that particular object. When it's clear here (hah!) and I can actually see the heavens, I'll try to spot the ISS.

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Good evening all! Had a beautiful day on the beach. 2 of the group are pretty red tonight :o Kevin is at home and has been sending me texts about all the riots and destruction. I told him to turn it off or he will be so worked up he won’t be able to sleep. All my group is watching is HGTV and Foodnetwork. In between drinking and eating and laughing.

Our son is at the Veterans Hospital near philly running the “Covid command operations” for his Army National Guard unit there to help with patient care. We are concerned he will be called out on a riot control mission as have thousands of other guard members.

We are living in sad times.

From my relatively safe vantage point, I do wonder how much of a spike in cases will be seen as the virus spreads unchecked amongst the protesters and (sadly) those trying to control and those who will then need to treat them.

Here in Oz we had an outbreak of what is being labelled "moronavirus" - mostly consisting of anti-vaxxers and those blaming the 5G telephone technology for the virus. With the addition of a bunch of (Insert expletive here) who are blaming Bill Gates for starting the virus...

Your victims of moronavirus seem materially more afflicted...
