Wind finally died down overnight - and it's FRIDAY!! Date night at our favorite steak house/bar.

Off to that work place!!

Good morning. It's only one game but the hockey season is off to a good start. The Islanders and Golden Knights both won last night. I'm not really a Carolina Hurricanes fan but my cable system televises their games, they won last night too.

I have another appointment to donate platelets in a couple of hours, maybe they'll be able to hit the vein this time.

Phun Friday??? Bahhhhhh
On the way home from work hit pothole about one mile from home last night about 7ish & tire blew out. Lugnuts were frozen on so couldn't change tire. Limped on home. Chased a ride to get a "loaner" car from my daughter.
Called this morning & had to order the tire. Tire store supposed to have it Come Monday. We'll see if that actually means they'll be able to install it Monday or not.
Meanwhile, decided to have the car towed to the tire store now to have them slap the doughnut on there so I can free up my daughter's car back to her.
So yeah, Friday has been a PHUN day dealing with last nights aftermath!

I think it will a HopSlam beer night tonight!!

Wow! Painful tire story, Ken. My most recent flats were on my smaller boat trailer, but one was on a four lane. That was a cake walk compared to your flat.

Another long busy day at work. More changes in my meds and even more tests and monitoring at home that I need to do. I'm "off" tomorrow but will be busy cleaning this dirty house before oldest daughter and grandkids arrive on Thursday for the youngest daughter's wedding next Saturday. On top of working and last minute things to help her with I have all of these appointments to deal with AND my regular work schedule. I'm fried! I'm normally not one to weep and gnash my teeth, but honestly I am just so overwhelmed I feel like having a good cry , Think I'll have a margarita instead.
