i imagine there are plenty in the US who are currently doom-scrolling.

I guess it's hard to do but for sanity sake, sometimes it's better to walk away and stop consuming the horror movie that is the modern news cycle.

In 1975, Australian band Skyhooks released this gem - it's about news services deliberately pushing doom and gloom - we'd call it click-bait these days! They we ahead of their time, enjoy:
Off topic here.....thanks for the fact that Skyhooks was an Australian band. Not that I know their material, but I recall seeing them in concert opening up for Uriah Heep back in '76 I believe. Only takeaway from their performance was the drum solo.........

You're right but it's harder to do when a family member is in the midst of the gloom and doom. :cry:
