Foggy here at Maison De Le Rabz.
Our fog usually burns off in the AM. On the Maine coast, it can last all day. Is this all day fog?
It should burn off by about 9 AM. We get fog here a fair bit - we are in a quite hilly area with deep, fairly steep valleys. The fog can stay in the bottoms of the valleys all day during winter.
Where I work (well, when I used to go to the office) is on Sydney Harbour - a place called Garden Island - when we get a sea fog it can last into the afternoon. It is a bit eerie when you can't see the harbour but can hear vessels moving and the occasional fog horn blast.
On a nice day it is spectacular - this is view of Sydney Harbour few people see:

I celebrated the holiday, now I'm watching The Bridge On The River Kwai. It was on TV a few days ago and I DVR'd it.
I remember the English engineers took so long designing a bridge for a standard train, when the train that would run on the bridge was smaller in scale.
The whistler who did the opening pieceColonel bogey's March also whistled the Andy Griffith Show.
He performed at my jr high.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
I get to roll off the project I am on on Friday. Thank <insert your favourite deity here>.
In the mean time I need to compile hundreds of documents (just did a count 1600 documents) into PDFs and then combine them into manuals. For some reason the powers that be decided to use Microsoft Word to create the documents, rather than a publishing tool. The size and content in the documents means we are working way outside the usable capabilities of Word.
What a slow and painful process it now is as Word takes forever to do simple tasks...
So it's:
1. Click a button.
2. Get a coffee.
3. Drink coffee.
4. Word finishes simple task.
5. Click a button.
6. Repeat.

When I wenr to the Dr last week, he upped my sleeping aid and put me on prednisone . Great combination... NOT.
I feel like I want to jump out of my skin.
Finished the prednisone so I am feeling some better...some. Getting ready to leave today, I poured an entire can of soda on my pants....every single drop. Glad I had anorher clean pair of jeans handy.
Maybe tomorrow will be better?

Yup.
Thank you.
As of today, my vision has stabilize. Will be getting shots probably the rest of my life but they are saving the vision I do have. 👁❤
That was weird.
Sitting here watching A Million Little Things.....and boom. Pitch black. Storm stopped much earlier. Just blackness. Took a few minutes for power to return and then cable/internet/etc. to return.
Just more craziness added to today.
