Good Morning BN'ers. Today, April 9th is National Name Yourself Day. I'm named after my father, Ken.

I later learned the honor of carrying that name forward.

On a side note, Jeannette finally traded in her 2001 Lexus IS300. She owned it for 16 years.
She bought a 2021 Lexus NX300. I told her it was time she treated herself to something nice.

Wow! That is a good run! I'm up to 10 years on my Rav and will keep it awhile longer.

Yes on the good run but it's a Lexus so that's expected.

My dad kept getting those calls. I took the phone and used a fake Indian accent and talked very fast and berated
them for "bothering-my-father-he-is-a-very-very-very-old-man-and-doesn't-need-this-aggravation-and-you-should-be
-ashamed-of-yourself-stop-calling-him". They hung up on me and Mom and Dad laughed.

I'm named after my grandfather but thankfully I got his his middle name, not his first name. I would hate to have gone through life named Reginald.

I remember years ago at a family gathering my mother saying she wanted to spell my name Laurence instead of Lawrence. She was overruled because my grandfather was Reginald Lawrence, not Reginald Laurence.
