sorting out some photo galleries and found these photos...thought I would share them.
The first one is a photo I took of Lookout Lighthouse just off of Beufort, NC last April. If these photos dont make you want to go find some saltwater, somethings wrong with you :
I created a black and white version of it too...which I kinda like better.
This is my favorite photo I have ever taken. I like the black and white version of it best:

That looks a lot like Cumberland island.....I used to go there all the time!

It looks like a great place.
At Beaufort, I noticed a brochure where you can pay to go out and camp on the island overnight.
How cool would it be to camp out there for a couple of nights and watch the sunrise/sunset.
From where the islands off the NC coast kinda wrap back around, you actually have areas where you can watch an oceanic sunrise and sunset...which is pretty cool.

You was able to overcome the first obstacle...?PHAW Webmistress wrote:This is a pic of my MIL taken about a month after she moved in with us. We went to go see our phriends play at a local bar - this picture always makes me smile because you can just see in her face how much she is enjoying herself
#1: get a MIL that you like
AND the second obstacle...?
#2: get a MIL that likes you.
Do you know how rare that is..?
There like 3-4 hundred obstacles after that (one of which is taking your MIL to a concert)...but most people do not get beyond the first one.
There are lottery winners that are envious of you!!!!!
