Well, at least you're not buying whole bolts of fabric just to be mean like that one lady I told you about!

I don't see why not! I also had a pattern saved before our computer crashed and we lost everything :( for a little girls dress that was a knit "tank"-type on top and a simple fabric bottom. I have some flat sheets that are still in good condition but we don't use any longer that I could use for the skirt portion and knit a coordinating top. I just need to find the pattern again!

If you sit on the ziploc, you can fit a lot in it. (Leave it unzipped a little) then zip quickly

that is how we pack our clothes when we go on vacation :P

Yes, that's what I did with the hats

I don't like to do that on vacation cause I don't like my clothes wrinkled [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

I don't find that they are any more wrinkled when we zip them than we if don't. Every single thing in our suitcases gets zipped. That way there are protected from wetness as well as compacted.

 I'm remembering a clip on a talk show from years ago. It was in the late morning and starred Gary Collins and his wife (I think). They were talking about packaging things for the freezer and even clothes for packing. The woman said to put it in a Zip Lock bag, zip it almost all the way closed, insert a straw then "$uck the big one!" They all looked so shocked when she said it and I think she may have even suprised herself!
