Re: Sunny Saturday @ the MSC
Hey Nanc. No sun here (yet). We did finally get some much-needed rain on Wed but not nearly enough to make a dent into our drought situation.
Off for a few errands this morning and then back home to spend a few hours with the Skeeter while Brandon coaches a midget football game and Deanna works.
Make the most of your day everybody !!

Hi there!
We head out for a big craft fair today.Thousands of women hitting hundreds of booths to buy stuff destined for the attic(or my garage)at some future date.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Heya Bits. We're in Ft Washington where we've stayed for years.
Great show last night. Saw a bunch of friends I haven't seen in years. And may not see for a while.

Good morning.
The Pelicans sure like to make things interesting. The first round of the playoffs is a best of 3 series. They lost the first game. In the second game, the starting pitcher took a no-hitter into the 8th inning, gave up a double, then a run scored on an error. Going into the 9th inning they were winning 4-1. A relief pitcher comes in and the first 3 batters go single, walk, walk. Bases loaded, no outs. New pitcher. Before he throws a pitch it starts pouring and they delay the game. Two hours and 44 minutes later (I looked at the website yesterday morning, I only stayed a little over an hour before I went home) they start playing again and give up 2 runs but win the game 4-3. Last night they scored 3 runs in the first inning then didn't get another hit until the 7th inning, when they scored another run. It's 4-2 in the 9th inning. With one out, they make another error. Then a double. Then a ground ball for the second out but a run scores. Now it's 4-3 with a runner on 3rd base. The batter hits a ground ball to the shortstop, the guy who made the error earlier in the inning. No error this time and they hold on to win another one. The league championship series, they play for something called the Mills Cup, starts tomorrow.

The weather forecast is for severe thunderstorms but so far it's just a little overcast. I think I'll head to the park and get my walk in before the predicted deluge hits.

Re: Sunny Saturday @ the MSC
Spring has sprung.
Lawn-mower dragged protesting from its hiatus.
Then on to putting radios into new ute.
Can some explain to me, why anyone would want to be a mechanic or auto-electrician?
Good grief, I've installed plenty of radios into plenty of vehicle, but it gets harder and harder and more and more painful and more and more blood is spilt.
HOWEVER
It has been great working out in the warmth and the sunshine!
