Final SAT of March @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning BN.

What's everyone got going on today? Today is our daughter Bridget's bridal shower; Kevin was going to brew beer with a friend but he's down with a nasty cough so he'll be hanging out at home. Needs to get better by the first Saturday in April -- has to have his signing voice up & ready for the great Parrotfest [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Must be something going around. I've been fighting a cold since Monday. The cough feels like an alien is
about to break out of my chest. Should be okay in a day or two. Playing poker tonight with the brothers. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?

Good morning. I'm going to the Myrtle Beach Highland Games today.
http://www.myrtlebeachhighlandgames.com/

I went last night, it was free. There's an admission charge today but I'm going back anyway. I'm not a big fan of Celtic music but they had 2 bands last night and they were pretty good, they're both going to be there again today. Plus there's food and beer. There were 2 beer trucks but only the smaller one was open last night. The larger beer truck had 12 taps but there weren't any handles so I don't know what beers they'll be selling today. The smaller truck had the usual suspects - Bud, Bud Light and Michelob - but it also had 3 beers from Highland Brewing. I've never had a Highland beer that I didn't like so I'm hoping there might be more of their stuff at the 12 tap truck today. Plus, at least last night, the beer wenches were Tilted Kilt girls.

Hello.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Ahoy! With rain in the forecast, I fished. The fish were cooperative, but I came home to be with Anne. Our very old cat is not well. We have a sad time ahead. :(
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

The 2 bands they had were SYR (pronounced "sire") and Tuatha Dea. SYR had a really cute fiddle player and the percussionist was a woman too. It got a little distracting when she started jumping up and down while she was banging on the drum. :o

The beer wenches were Tilted Kilt girls again. I only knew one of them. I know, shocking.

He got worse while I was at our daughter's bridal shower. I think he actually may have the flu. He's got a fever but is cold and every move he makes is joined with a sound that makes it seem like he is dying????
