Morning.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Good afternoon all. At around 1:45 this morning someone in a SUV drove past the house. He hit a neighbor's concrete retaining
wall (about 2 ft high) and went into their yard into an embankment. He (or she) backed down the embankment, ripping up
turf as he did, over the other side of the retaining wall, and into the street. I came outside just in time to see the vehicle
weaving back and forth down the road, leaving a trail of oil, water, and transmission fluid. A policeman came by the crash site
and told me they found the vehicle down the road. I followed the trail this afternoon and found the final stop. It was 6/10 of a
mile (1 kilometer) away. The vehicle had been towed away. I'm surprised it got that far. The neighbors whose yard it had been
in were not home and still aren't. A three foot wide and one foot thick section of the wall was broken off and lifted up out of
place by the impact. Pieces of the vehicle are still in the yard. The driver missed a telephone pole by inches. :pirate:

It did help, thank you! I always love to look back through Buffett pics but really liked the Booze Luge stealing the show [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. It's almost time for me to leave, I'm going to see The Charlie Daniels Band tonight. I thought the show was at 7:00 but I just checked the ticket and it's at 6:00. The venue is about 15 or so miles away and I have to find an alternate route there. There's a construction zone on the main road I would usually take and traffic backs up even on the weekend.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I'm pretty sure the cops will figure out who the driver was. Judging by his driving performance this morning I don't
think he was feeling any pain. Probably feeling pretty miserable now. I'll check the police blotter tomorrow to see if
an arrest has been made. As for the neighbor's property, it wasn't exactly a "showplace". The over/under for how long it
takes them to notice the damage is 2 days. :pirate:
