Test Drinker THURS @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning Everyone -- it's also thirsty Thursday!

Today, for the 3rd time, I am a volunteer test drinker for our local DUI Police Task Force. That means I get to take a day off of work (with pay), to drink for free from 9-12:30. Then I perform (or try to perform) Field Sobriety Tests for a group of approx 20 police officers. Last time I was the winner of 18 drinkers with a BAC of .14 (although they did cut me off at 10:15 a.m. since I was almost over the legal limit by then -- only to be let loose to drink more at 11:00).

Good morning Linda. Nice work for the day, but twenty police watching you? They may profile you some day as a known drinker. :D
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

20 officers are not my worry -- the District Attorney that keeps asking me to come back -- now that's a different story :o -- and I can't do those Field Sobriety Tests on a sober day :D

Good morning. I think the bad weather from the concert Tuesday followed me home, it was 63 degrees and raining when the plane landed at midnight and it's only 61 this morning. :o

Afternoon BNers

I can't believe there is a tailgate less than 10 miles from our house and I'm not there.
Not interested is being in the heat.
I'll watch the show from my couch.
Guess MTV has spoiled me.

The Carolina Country Music Festival starts tomorrow but they're having a Kick-Off Concert tonight at 6:00. It's been raining on and off all day and it's only 60 degrees. In Myrtle Beach. In June. :o If I go tonight, I might have to wear pants.

Home from my day drinking job. Highest BAC for the day was .011. For some reason all 10 of the police teams decided they would arrest me :o. Do you know how difficult it is to stand on one foot, with the other leg raised in the air and count "one, one thousand, two one thousand"... without lowering your foot ??? Even without 7 margaritas I can't do that !!

I decided not to go to the Kick-Off Concert because the only performer I've heard of is Montgomery Gentry and I don't know any of their music. I'll wait until tomorrow.

Hello.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Hi, all.
Waiting to board my flight to Dallas. Was supposed to take off 10 minutes ago, but being told of a "significant delay" due to a ground stop at DFW.
Apparently there is one he!! of a storm in Dallas.
Not too worried- it's a non stop flight and I have no checked bags, but I AM ready for some Texas.

Just landed at DFW.
And WHY in the name of all that is holy I'm posting on the Thursday thread instead of the one for Friday, I'll never know.
I need a Diet Dr. Pepper ASAP.
