Good morning. I made a rookie mistake yesterday, I forgot to buy coffee. 
I don't feel like going back to the supermarket today and now that I'm retired I never go shopping on weekends so I'll have to wait until Monday. I have a 12 cup coffee pot and I usually make 6 cups. I think if I cut back to 4 cups instead of 6, I probably have enough to make it through the weekend.

I stopped in Wally World today to pick up some pool supplies, shelves were about empty and they were putting out Christmas stuff. Crazy. Hey, this is Florida, we've got another 4 weeks of pool enjoyment, temps still in the upper 80's. Guess I'll have to go to the pool store.

Well here in Oz, Spring has sprung. Actually, I think we have bypassed Spring and gone straight to Summer.
At Rabbitzland we're looking at a 92°F day, with most of the state under a Total Fire Ban. 65 fires currently on the statewide list.
It's only mid-September, December to February are the hot months...
It means the boardshorts and sunscreen are out of the cupboard early, who would complain about that?

I am pleased you are getting an "Indian Summer", one can never have too many shorts days.
Today (Saturday) looks like it's time to break out all the home defence firefighting gear and make sure it all still works, time to clean out all the pockets of leaf litter and the like. We've had a few windy weeks and there has been a bit of a build up. The fire authority are predicting (as usual) a busy fire season, but this year there is something about the tone of the messaging that is a little ominous. I guess the fact that it's getting for two months since we've had significant rain might be colouring their thinking.
