Presidents' Day Monday@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. I have a photo I'll have to post that fits this day.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Morning, pholks. :wench:

No holiday in Limeville. I'll be working and lurking as usual.

Good morning. Nothing going on today, woke up to some fog and there's a chance of rain but it's supposed to be in the 70s all week. Maybe I'll go to the beach tomorrow when everyone's back at school and work.

Good icy, cold, and snowy morning!! Had to go out in it, as E had PT this morning. It was a bear to scrape the ice off of the windshield. :-? But he did well, and we're back home and warm. :)

Good morning BN, 3 day weekend for many. Always a holiday being retired. 75 today and sunny, sorry about the lousy weather up north.

When I was working at the law firm, I could never understand why we didn't get Presidents' Day or Martin Luther King Day off. They're both federal holidays and the courts are closed but we had to work. We only had 7 paid holidays all year. But we did get 5 personal days and 20 vacation days to go with the holidays. First world problems, I guess.

Now that I'm retired, the only significance of weekends and holidays is that all those darn working people are loose on the streets and in the way.....

Ahoy! I worked out and weighed less than I have in years. The bad news is I have to keep starving to loose more. The Cabin Fever weekend will set me back a few pounds, but it will be worth it.
The sideways photo is Sistergoldenhair from Pittsburgh 2016.

Turned out to be a really crappy day, rained on and off all afternoon. Maybe I'll have a beer.

Was a pretty quiet day after we got back from PT. Lots of sleeping and a few pain pills. Otherwise it's been cold and dreary.

And it was nearly 65 yesterday...
