Fins To The Right Tuesday@ the MSC
Good morning BN. At Bristow, I was annoyed by young adults not doing FINZUP! I thought of a Big Bang Theory line." They weren't having fun right."
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Well Bill, as for the younguns, I guess some people are just too cool for school. Sad cause they miss out on the fun. As for me, I'll be over here on Baby Boomer Island, with all of my phriends!
I'm just tryin to get by, being quiet and shy, in a world full of pushin and shove

Good morning.
I have an appointment to donate platelets at the Red Cross this morning. After that drive home yesterday I'm exhausted, I almost hope my hemoglobin is too low and they don't let me donate. Sitting there with needles in both arms for 2 hours doesn't sound very appealing today.

Hello to anybody who's anybody.
Thanks to all who helped make my 100th Jimmy concert the special day that it was. SO many people to thank, and I'll make a seperate post about that in the Bristow, VA thread in a bit.
Still not home yet- after some flight delays yesterday, missed connections due to weather, instead of getting home last night as scheduled at 10 PM, I'm in Dallas, TX (don't ask), getting ready to board the flight to Cedar Rapids, SCHEDLUED to land there in two hours. No sleep today, but I'll have to go home, shower, get a haircut, pack another bag to go to Nova Scotia tomorrow for the services of one of my uncles, TRY to get a few hours sleep tonight, then back at the airport tomorrow morning at 5 AM.
It's times like this when I regret the fact that I gave up drinking.

HOME! For about 10 minutes, and then it's on to more "fun." Shower, haircut, deal with some not so nice family issues, pack another bag, TRY to get a nap in tonight, then back at the airport at 5 AM.
Thanks again to all who celebrated with me at Nissan/Jiffy Lube Live (lots of personal thank yous to send out, which I will). It was a weekend for the ages.
And, lest I forget, thank you too to everyone who sent me cards, texts, e-mails, and phone calls over the recent loss of my mother. Greatly appreciated.

Re: Fins To The Right Tuesday@ the MSC
Good afternoon peeps! Soooo....we had a RUDE awakening this morning, dogs woke us up slightly more agitated than usual, I'm off today and was planning on staying in bed, but looked up to SEE NOT HEAR a black figure flying back and forth in the room! Bryan let dogs out as I cowered under the covers, then returned with.....the FLY SWATTER! I said, that's not gonna cut it...he said I'm sorry I don't have a tennis racket! He swatted at it as it flew around
and hit it out of the air. He was whacking it on the floor as I jumped out of bed, ran into the kitchen and returned with a cool whip bowl and lid so he covered it with the bowl, slid the swatter under the bowl and took the BAT outside! My hero. Still creeped out!

Wow, what an 'adventure', Garry. And I'm sorry about you're uncle, as well. Hope things aren't too difficult with Mom's stuff, too.
Bats?? I've never had to deal with one.
Survived day #2. One on One training with the person who has my same position, but in a different office. Brain is mush. LOL!!
Good luck with the noisy pipes, Molly!!
