Sleepy eyes this morning. Still working on getting back to the routine. Tho mine is changed, I start at 7:00, leave at 3:30, instead of 7:30-4:30. I'm not used to breaks and only 30 minute lunch.

We had a police standoff that started at 11:00 am yesterday and finally ended around 4 this morning. Guy walked into a bar & grill, fired some shots and then decided to stay awhile. Didn't take any hostages and didn't kill anyone. Gave himself up after they rammed an armored car into the place.

Good morning.
When I went grocery shopping yesterday, I stopped at the Beer Den to see what they had. There's a new Den Master and this was only the second time he's been there when I was shopping. The first time, he made a point of telling me he just turned 40 and his girlfriend was 27. When I got there yesterday, a woman was sitting and sipping a beer. We started chatting. It was his girlfriend, she's absolutely gorgeous.

Morning BNer's , Just another long Tuesday here , work 7 to 3 , then to the liquor store for job #2 from 3:30 till 9. Janice , hopefully that wasn't a bar you frequented. Larry , did you ask to see a picture of her mom? You never know , I mean you are The HOG.

It was the first time I ever spoke to her, I didn't want her to think I was a dirty old man. Besides, her boyfriend runs the Beer Den at my local supermarket. No, I haven't been to this one.
Yes, the owner and the surrounding businesses will have to deal with things for a few days. They shut power to all the businesses for awhile and then just to the bar. Some of the little joints in the area lost a bunch of food that was out being prepped for the lunch rush yesterday. No telling what they lost in their fridges.
