I'm watching the 6:00 news and the governor issued a mandatory evacuation order for all coastal areas starting tomorrow at noon. One of the reporters was at the county's Emergency Management office, the building it's in can't withstand anything stronger than a Category 1 storm. Florence is Category 4 right now.
Are you leaving or hunkering down?
I'm probably leaving. I stayed through Hurricane Matthew 2 years ago but that was barely a Category 1 by time it got here.
Find a shelter near a brewery my good man!!
But seriously, take caution, be safe & good luck to you
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!

And now TX governor is telling everyone to start getting ready for whatever is in the Gulf.
Good grief
I've not looked recently, IS there something in the Gulf??

Don't forget chargers for phones and such!!
Do you know where you are heading?
Georgia, a friend texted me this morning and said if I had to leave I could stay with her and her husband.

I was planning on going to Charleston for a couple of days, this is Charleston Beer Week, but the weather changed those plans.

That would be a good move. Be safe Larry!! And why would they build a building , to only withstand a cat 1. Every year there is a potential of a stronger hurricane.
