Good morning BN. Still looking at 90's here, heat index over 100. Several outside chores on hold.

Good morning. There's a flood warning for the Waccamaw River. Flood stage is 11 feet, as of yesterday afternoon it was at almost 15 feet and they expect it to crest at 20.7 feet. :o There's a nice park along the river called the Conway Riverwalk. It'll be underwater.

Much Cooler today , actually wearing a pull over. Saw ( Worked) a great show last night Million Dollar Quartet . If they come to your area , check it out. Tonight I revisit the 80's , Going to see REO Speedwagon , they are playing at the theater I work at , but I'm going as a Patron tonight.

Ahoy! I fished for 2 days with real Doug. He has a nasal monotone and drones on and on about any thing that crosses his mind, especially the Civil War. I wonder if I bore people (who aren't into the lifestyle) with stories of Buffett stuff?
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

First time seeing REO was in '76 opening for ZZ Top. First show ever at our local Outdoor shed (Pine Knob). We were at the beach about 20 miles north of the venue. Decided, "what the hell, let's go!"
We had no clue what to expect. Kegs allowed inside the venue back in the day!! :o :o 8) 8)

Just got back from a walk in the park, it's a beautiful day but it's hot. I saw a couple of my neighbors before I left. The people next door to me used to live in Maryland and when they evacuated they went back to stay with family. It took them 2 days to get back here because of all the detours around flooded roads.

Read an article this am about the Waccamaw river. They talked about putting up sandbags & that it's not even supposed to crest til sometime next week. Crazy!

We have had lots of thunder about all day but no rain. Harris county (Houston) is under flood warnings. Thought we would get some rain but guess not today.

It might crest about 2 feet higher than after Hurricane Matthew in 2016 and there was a $h!tload of flooding back then.

Evening pholks.

My day off was spent doing laundry, cleaning the house & washing/waxing the truck. Had thought about giving the pups a bath but they talked me out of it

Now a beer or 2 at the tiki before starting dinner.
