Welcome to Wednesday@ the MSC
Good morning BN. My weight is down, I won a drawing for a prize and we are eating out today. Life is good. Enjoy your day, pholks.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. If I don't go grocery shopping I won't have any milk for my corn flakes tomorrow morning.
Old Chicago has some special menu items for Oktoberfest so I went there for lunch yesterday, I had beer braised beef with spatzle. I never had spatzle before, but it was pretty good.

Afternoon BNers
It was a rocky night. Went to sleep, then woke up about 5:15 am. Watched the local news until after 7 am and then finally fixed off.
But, somehow the Astros magic number is 0!

Pour beer on your corn flakes, Larry.... you'll accomplish two of your tasks for the day in one fell swoop.
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

The Beer Den has 5 beers I haven't tried yet but nobody was there to serve me when I was shopping. I can always go back tomorrow for Thirsty Thursday, 1/2 price pints from 4:00-8:00.

Ahoy! I shop the better clothing stores for summer deals on shirts and found one for 11$. Too bad it was my old size. I left the store.

Quiet workday. Raining again here in PA. Started our 4th Wednesday Night Mearball dinner event after a summer hiatus. Always fun to catch up around a dinner table. No phones allowed

Re: Welcome to Wednesday@ the MSC
Evening, friends. Long day. Mom was out of control again, wanted to go to the hospital. So she did. Tests and evals, and back 'home'. She's forgotten how to do laundry (that was her last 'normal' thing she did). Long story short, she can no longer care for herself in Assisted Living, so my sister and I decided she has to be moved to Memory Care. She'll fight it, and we'll hate it, but it's the best thing for her safety. We're hoping for the 6th (which happens to be my father's birthday). We just have to figure out HOW to tell her and get her moved down to that area. 3 years later, she actually remembers that we had friends and family keep them occupied while we did their move from their house to the Assisted Living Facility. And she 'claims' she was never told (she was) that she wasn't going back to her house, not this new 'place'. We can't do the same thing to her again. Sigh. I. HATE. THIS.
